Icecube Gen II FW800

The Icecube Gen II is a FW800 / 400 / USB enclosure styled to match the brushed aluminium look of a G5 case. It's solidly built with a satisfying weight and doesn't feel cheap like some firewire cases do.
I got hold of one with the latest Oxford 912 FW800 chipset and it's screamingly fast. The only downside to the new chipset is no USB support but that's hardly a big deal if you have firewire. I could do seven layers of DV streaming off this drive in FCP so it could do at least that many 640x480 Photojpeg layers with ease.
