Our need to upgrade both our PCs came after a month of Breaks, Shorts and Bad Luck. A Shuttle XPC had been on the cards for a while now, they seem to offer a really good cross of desktop speeds with a footprint close that of a laptop.
The Shuttle is a Case/Motherboard Combo which comes in at a tiny 185mm tall. The case is possibly one of the best cases, build quality wise, I've come across. It has room for 2x3.5" HDs and an optical drive. Internally there is an 8xAGP and one PCI slot.
