About VJCentral

Welcome to VJCentral.com, a community site for VJs by VJs intended for newcomers who want to learn how to create live visuals as well as for experienced VJs looking for inspiration, advanced tips and/or other fellow VJs. This website runs an open-publishing system. It means anyone can add new content to the site and it will be available at once to all the VJs visiting this site.

History of VJCentral

VJCentral was started by a VJ called Exhale. He saw the possibility of using the internet to create a community where VJs and video artists could meet, exchange ideas and develop the VJing scene. VJCentral quickly grew to become the biggest repository of information on live visuals in the world. VJCentral's sister site VJForums.com continues to be the most lively and active discussion forum for VJs and video artists.

VJCentral is run by volunteers
VJCentral is run by a team of people who collectively moderate posts on VJForums, maintain the back-end systems that run the sites, deal with hosting issues and generally take care of the day to day management of VJCentral and VJForums.

VJCentral is funded by donations from our users
It costs us money to run this site, the server costs amount to around £60 per month at the moment and as we add functionality this is likely to increase. Please help secure the future of VJCentral and VJForums by making a donation. You can donate via the automated system on VJForums.
